Pirates of the Caribbean Location
Wallilabou Bay was used to film several scenes for Pirates of The Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. The set which once defined the bay has not aged as well as the film has, however it still holds some remnants of life from its movie premier.
Some set pieces have held their structure better than others. The one's that stand hold artefacts or photos from the activities of the film crew and cast during the months of filming.
5 minutes away from Wallilabou Bay
Wallilabou Falls is easy to miss driving on the main road when seeking out the famous big brother Wallilabou Bay. The falls are tucked away just one simple turn off the main road. The falls are a part of the National Parks ministry and managed by it, as a heritage site. The combination of historical features and well maintained pathways makes it easy for access for the quaint setting.
